Range

Ex. se. Atlantic, s. Indian and s. Pacific Oceans n. to ca. 25°S;
(1) Breeds on Albatross Rock in the Bass Strait, Mewstone and Pedra Branca Is. off the s. tip of Tasmania (Albatross, Mewstone, and Pedra Blanca Is.).
Dispersal pattern not well known, but seems to be n. to 25°S and s. to New Zealand, Australia (s. Western Australia, Victoria off Portland and s. New South Wales off Cape Green), Tasmania and w. to s. Africa (s. Angola, Namibia, South Africa and Mozambique).
(2) Auckland Is. (Disappointment Is.).
(3) Breeds on Crozet, Snares and Bounty Is.
Disperses into the Tasman Sea and w. to South Africa and e. to Peru (s. from Lima) and Chile.
(4) Breeds on Chatham Is. (Pyramid Rock).
Disperses mainly in the vicinity of Chatham Is., but also to the e. and s. coasts of New Zealand, w. to s. Africa and into the cs. Pacific e. to South America.
