Range

Circumpolar; Southern Ocean n. in e. Pacific Ocean;
Breeds on is. off Cape Horn (Diego Ramirez and Ildefonso, Chile), South Georgia, Marion, Prince Edward, Crozet, Kerguelen, Macquarie and Campbell Is.
Disperses mostly s. of 40°S off Australia (Western Australia, South Australia, Victoria off Portland, sw. New South Wales (Green Cape to Sidney), Tasmania, New Zealand (North and South Island), the w. coast of South America from 65°S to 35°S and 15°S in the Humboldt Current off Peru, Chile, Argentina (Tierra del Fuego, Straits of Magellan), South Africa (e. Cape of Good Hope and off the Natal coast).
