Range

E. and se. Africa;
Two widely separated populations;
(1) Se. Sudan, Ethiopia, Eritrea and n. Somalia.
(2) E. Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi, Kenya, s. Somalia and n. Tanzania.
(3) Ex. s. Mozambique and e. South Africa (ex. se. Transvaal, Natal, e. Cape Province).
