E. slope of n. Central America to nw. South America;
(1) S. Mexico on the Gulf-Caribbean slope from se. San Luis Potosi, Puebla, Veracruz, n. Oaxaca, Tabasco, Chiapas and Yucatan Peninsula to Belize (Cockscomb Basin Wildlife Sanctuary) and n. Guatemala.
(2) Se. Guatemala, Honduras, both slopes of Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Panama to n. Colombia and nw. Venezuela.
