(1) Caribbean slope of se. Honduras, Nicaragua, both slopes of Costa Rica, Panama, w. Colombia e. to Cauca Valley (formerly middle Magdalena Valley) s. to sw. Ecuador (El Oro).
(2) Ne. Colombia, nw. and n. Venezuela e. in mountains to Miranda.
(3) Sw. Colombia from the upper Magdalena Valley s. along e. slope of the Andes in e. Ecuador, e. Peru (Junin).
