Range

Sahel zone from w. to e. Africa and s. to Angola and South Africa;
(1) Senegambia, sw. Guinea e. through Liberia, s. Mali, Ivory Coast, Ghana, Togo and Nigeria to n. Cameroon, s. Chad and s. Sudan.
(2) W. Cameroon to n. Zaire.
(3) E. Sudan, Ethiopia, Eritrea and Somalia.
(4) Uganda, Burundi, Rwanda, Kenya and Tanzania to Malawi and Zambia.
(5) N. Angola to Zimbabwe, Mozambique, Botswana and e. South Africa (Natal and Cape Province).
(6) Namibia.
