(1) W. Europe from the British Isles and Scandinavia e. across c. Russia and c. Siberia to the Sea of Okhotsk and Sakhalin Is. then s. to n. Mediterranean region, Hungary (Borzsony), nw. Turkey, nw. Iran, s. Russia, nc. and ne. China, n. Mongolia, Manchuria, ne. Korea and n. Japan.
(2) Italy, Sicily, Sardinia and Corsica.
(3) N. Algeria.
(4) Nw. India. Winters s. to c. Africa, India (Ladakh), se. Asia, Taiwan, Hainan, s. China and s. Japan. Winters in n. tropical Africa, s. Japan and se. Asia.
