China and se. Asia with isolated populations extending w. in the Himalayas and India and s. into the Greater Sundas;
Highly fragmented distribution;
(1) Nw. Himalayas of n. Pakistan and n. India to Assam.
(2) India to Indochina, Sumatra and Borneo.
(3) W. and s. China.
