S. Mexico through Central America to nw. South America;
Se. Mexico (Puebla, Veracruz, Tabasco, Oaxaca and Chiapas) s. along the Caribbean slope to Costa Rica, then along both slopes of Panama to c. Colombia and w. Ecuador.
