C. Central America. Amazonian South America;
Two populations;
(1) S. Mexico (s. Veracruz, Oaxaca, Tabasco, and Ckhiapas) s. along the Caribbean slope to Nicaragua.
(2) E. Nicaragua to nw. Panama.
(3) Sw. Costa Rica and w. Panama along both slopes.
(4) E. Panama, Colombia and nw. Ecuador.
(5) N. and w. Amazonia in s. Venezuela, Guyana, Surinam, Guiana, and e. Ecuador.
(6) E. Peru, n. Bolivia and w. Brazil.
(7) Ne. Bolivia and w. Amazonian Brazil.
