Range
C. Amazonian South America;
(1) W. Amazonia from se. Colombia s. from Meta and Guainia, s. Venezuela (w. and s. Amazonas) and e. Ecuador s. to e. Peru, nw. Brazil e. to Rio Negro and Rio Madeira and s. to n. Mato Grosso). Birds in n. Bolivia seem to be intergrades with (3).
(2) S. Amazonian from Rio Madeira e. to Rio Tapajos. Records from n. of Amazon are probably either misidentified or mislabed.
(3) C. South America s. of the Amazon in n. and e. Bolivia (La Paz, Beni, Cochabamba, Santa Cruz) e. to ec. Brazil.
(4) Se. Amazonian Brazil, s. of the Amazon from Rio Tapajos to w. Maranhao.
