Range
Amazonian South America;
(1) Nw. Amazonia in se. Colombia (w. Meta, w. Caqueta), ne. Ecuador (Sucumbios) and ex. ne. Peru e. to ex. nw. Brazil (upper Rio Negro). S. and e. Venezuela (s. Amazonas and ne. Bolivar). Sight records from Monagas, Venezuela and n. Guyana.
(2) Ne. Amazonia in Surinam, Guiana and n. Brazil n. of the Amazon from the lower Rio Negro to Amapa. (3) Sw. Amazonia s. of the Amazon in w. Brazil from n. Acre e. to the Rio Madeira. Also a widely disjunct population on islands in the lower Amazon in Para near Obidos.
(4) Sc. Amazonian Brazil s. of the Amazon from Rio Tapajos and Rio Madeira s. to c. Rondonia and nw. Mato Grosso.
(5) Se. Amazonian Brazil s. of the Amazon from the Rio Tapajos e. to Rio Tacantins and s. to ne. Mato Grosso.
