Range

W. Atlantic and e. Caribbean; West Indies;
(1) E. Cuba (Monte La Bruja), Hispaniola (se. Haiti, Morne la Selle and the Dominican Republic) and Somebrero Is. Formerly bred in the mountains of Guadeloupe, Dominica and possibly Martinique.
(2) Jamaica (Blue Mountains). Disperses into the Caribbean and Atlantic Ocean along the w. edge of the Gulf Stream off the e. United States n. to Maryland and s. to Guyana, Surinam, Guiana and ne. Brazil.

Summer: NCA (Cape Hatteras in the Gulf Stream), e. FLA (regular 80 to 160km off Cape Canaveral in April and May), s. VIR and MYD after storms;
Winter: NCA.
