Range

S. Atlantic Ocean, s. Indian Ocean, ex. sw. Pacific Ocean and adjacent Southern Ocean to about 50°S;
(1) Tristan da Cunha Is., Gough and St. Paul (?) Is.
(2) Prince Edward, Marion, Kerguelen, Crozet (East Is.), Amsterdam and the Antipodes Is.
Disperses s. of 25°S along the Atlantic coasts of e. South America (Brazil, Uruguay, Argentina) and s. Africa (Namibia, South Africa, ex. s. Mozambique), Australia (s. Western Australia, Victoria (Portland)), Tasmania and New Zealand (North and South Island). Concentrates n. of Crozet Is. in February.
