Range

C. e. Pacific Ocean;
Juan Fernandez Is. on Mas-a-tierra and Santa Clara (off sw. Mas-a-tierra) and on San Felix and San Ambrosio Is. off Chile.
Disperses n. in the Humboldt Current off the coasts of Chile and Peru n. to Lima. Its movements are obscured by its similarity to Cook's Petrel.
