Range
W. Mediterranean Sea, ne. Atlantic Ocean and North Sea;
Nests in the Balearic Is. and possibly on Islas Chafarinas off Morocco.
Disperses in the Mediterranean off e. Spain and Morocco and out onto the Atlantic along the coasts of w. Morocco and w. Europe (Spain, Portugal and n. to France, English Channel and rarely into the w. North Sea).
