Range

W. Indian Ocean;
Breeding grounds are poorly known, but known to breed on Socotra Is. Presumed to be on the Kuria Muria Is. off s. Oman (Dhofar).
Ranges Arabian Sea region from s. Red Sea and Gulf of Aden to Gulf of Oman off s. Arabian Peninsula to the Strait of Hormuz and the Persian Gulf, Iran, Pakistan (Karachi) and nw. India and off e. Africa from Ethiopia to Somalia, Kenya and e. Madagascar.
