Nw. South America;
Andes of s. Colombia (w. slope of e. Andes at the head of the Magdalena Valley, Cueva de los Guacharos, e. slope of c. Andes at Huila, La Palma, 1525m, Amazonian slope in s. at Llorente, Narino, Cerro Pax and 30km e. of Cerro Pax in Narino), Ecuador (entire e. slope of the Andes and outlying ridges: Volcan Sumaco, Pan de Azucar (Napo), Cordillera de Cutucu (Morona-Santiago); Cordillera del Condor (Zamora-Chinchipe), Cordillera de Tzunantza and n. Peru (n. of the Rio Maranon in Cajamarca, Cerro Chinguela, 1700-1950m, Chaupe, 1830m and Lomo Santo).
