Andes of w. South America;
Two populations;
(1) Ex. w. Venezuela, Colombia (w. slope of the Andes at Virolin), nw. Ecuador (Mindo-Nambillo Forest). (2) E. slope of the Andes in w. Venezuela, Colombia, e. Ecuador and n. Peru.
(3) C. Peru.
(4) Se. Peru and wc. Bolivia (La Paz, Cochabamba).
