Range

S. Central America and ex. n. South America. Amazonian South America;
Two populations and a third very small population;
(1) E. Panama and n. Colombia.
(2) Trinidad including Chachacare Is.
(3) E. Colombia and n. Venezuela.
(4) Guyana, Surinam, Guiana and ne. Brazil.
(5) S. Venezuela, Amazonian Brazil, e. Ecuador, e. Peru and n. Bolivia.
(6) Ec. Brazil.
Very small population on the lower Rio San Francisco on the border of Alagoas and Sergipe.
