Range

S. Amazonian to cn. Temperate and e. South America;
Two populations;
(1) Nc. Bolivia and sw. Brazil.
(2) Se. Bolivia, w. Paraguay and n. Argentina.
(3) C. Argentina (Rio Negro).
(4) Ne. Brazil (Pernambuco, ne. Bahia (Chapada Diamantina), and possibly s. Piaui). Recently recorded in Minas Gerais.
