Ex. s. West Indies and tropical South America e. of the Andes;
Two main populations with many small isolated populations;
(1) West Indies (Grenada).
(2) W., n. and s. Venezuela, Trinidad, Guyana, Surinam and Guiana.
(3) N. and w. Amazonia (s. and se. Venezuela, e. Ecuador, e. Peru and most of Brazil (Bahia (Chapada Diamantina))).
Possibly migrates n. to Colombia.
(4) E. Bolivia, n. Argentina and Paraguay.
Migrates to e. Peru and e. Brazil.
(5) Se. Brazil, Uruguay and ne. Argentina.
Migrates to ne. Peru, n. and e. Bolivia and Brazil.
