Sw. Canada and w. United States;
Sw. Yukon, nw. and c. British Columbia, s. Alberta and sw. Saskatchewan and s. mostly w. of the Rocky Mountains in nc. Washingtion, se. Montana, w. South Dakota s. to s. California, s. Nevada, sw. Utah, w. Colorado, to c. Arizona, c. and ne. New Mexico.
Winters s. to w. Texas, s. Mexico mainly in the highlands to Oaxaca, and perhaps to nw. Guatemala.
