(1) Ex. wc. Alberta (n. Rocky Mountains), se. Washington, ne. Idaho, w. Montana, Wyoming, and w. South Dakota and s. in the mountains along the e. slopes of the Cascades and Sierra Nevada to ne. California, s. Nevada, c. and se. Arizona to w. Texas and in the Sierra Madre Occidental of Sonora, Chihuahua, and n. Coahuila.
Winters in c. and s. Mexico (wc. Veracruz, Puebla and n. Oaxaca).
(2) N. Mexico from Durango, se. Sinaloa, se. Coahuila and Nuevo Leon s. to Guerrero, sc. Oacaca and w. Veracruz.
Winters s. to Honduras.
