Sc. South America;
N and e. Bolivia (Beni and La Paz), sc. Brazil (s. Mato Grosso e. to n. Goias, w. Bahia (Correntina), c. Minas Gerais s. to Mato Grosso do Sul and Sao Paulo), Paraguay and Argentina s. to Tucuman, e. Chaco, and n. Corrientes.
Disperses during the Austral winter n. to ne. Brazil (Maranhao and s. Amapa) in the e. and se. Peru n. to Junin at the Rio Ene.
