Range

Ne., e. and c. Brazil;
S. of the Amazon from the lower Rio Tapajos e. locally to the Belem area, Paraiba and Pernambuco, and s. to ne. Mato Grosso in the upper Rio Xingu drainage, n. Goias, interior Bahia (Chapada Diamantina), and nw. Minas Gerais.
