N. Central America s. through tropical South America;
Two populations;
(1) N. Mexico (s. Sonora to n. Sinaloa)
(2) W. Mexico (s. Sinaloa, w. Durango and s. Zacatecas to se. San Luis Potosi, sw. Puebla and Ozcaca).
(3) S. Mexico along both slope including the Yucatan Peninsula, Cancun and s. Tamaulipas to n. Costa Rica.
(4) Tropical sw. Costa Rica, w. and c. Panama, n. Colombia and n. Venezuela.
(5) W. Ecuador (Esmeraldas) and ex. nw. Peru (Tumbes).
(6) E. Brazil (Para, Bahia (Chapada Diamantina)), e. Paraguay and ne. Argentina.
(7) E. Colombia, e. Ecuador, e. Peru and n. Bolivia, n. Amazonian Brazil and Venezuela.
