C. Central America to nw. South America. W. Amazonian South America;
Two populations;
(1) Caribbean slope of e. Honduras, Nicaragua and both slopes of Costa Rica to c. Panama.
(2) E. Panama, w. Colombia, e. Ecuador and nw. Peru.
(3) S. Colombia, s. Venezuela, e. Ecuador, se. Peru, n. Bolivia and w. Amazonian Brazil.
