W. United States to c. Central America
Two or three populations;
(1) Sw. United States (c. California, s. Nevada, n. Arizona, s. Utah, s. Colorado, w. Oklahoma and w. Texas with isolated populations in se. Montana, e. Wyoming and sw. South Dakota) to w. Mexico (nw. Baja through the Mexican Highlands to Michoacan, Puebla and c. Tamaulipas) and Guatemala.
Winter s. to Guatemala.
(2) Sw. Mexico (Oaxaca).
Winters s. to Honduras.
