Se. United States through the West Indies to ex. N. South America;
Highly fragmented distribution;
(1) Se. United States (South Carolina to s. Florida and w. to s. Alabama and s. Mississippi)) and the West Indies (Bahamas on Abaco and Cuba).
Winters to Panama, n. Colombia and n. Venezuela.
(2) West Indies in the Lesser Antilles, Netherland Antilles, Trinidad to Tobago. Nc. Venezuela s. to Apure.
