Range

E. Pacific off w. South America;
Apparently breeds in the coastal and interior deserts of s. Peru (Lima) and n. Chile (Atacama Desert, Andes of Antofagasta, Canyon of the Loa River, e. of Tocopilla, Taltal and Santa Luisa de Taltal).
Disperses from Ecuador (1°S) s. to c. Chile between August to December.
