Range
Nearly circumpolar; Tasman Sea and s. Pacific Ocean; S. Atlantic Ocean and sw. Indian Ocean;
(1) Admiralty Is. (e. Roach Is.), Lord Howe (Pyramid Rock) and Kermadec Is. (Macauley and Curtis Is.).
(2) Tristan da Cunha, Gough, St. Paul and Amsterdam Is.
(3) Juan Fernandez, San Felix, San Ambrosio Is. and Goat Is. off Mas-a-tierra.
(4) Rapa Is. in the Tubuai Is. or Austral Group (cs. Pacific).
Disperses into the w. Pacific (2°N to 15°S and 85 to 117°W) and in the e. Pacific between 26 and 27°S around breeding is. and to the coasts of Peru (Lima) and the Galapagos Is. s. to Chile (Valparaiso), n. Argentina n. to Uruguay and Brazil, and e. South Africa, Mozambique, s. Tanzania, s. Indian Ocean, Coral and Tasman Sea and the cs. Pacific (Samoa, Cook, Society and Marquesas Is.).
