Range

C. Asia;
Sw. Russia and n. Kazakhstan from just w. of Volga River e. to Lake Zaysan and the n. shores of the Caspian Sea and the Aral Sea and n. of Lake Balkhash in sw. Siberia.
Winters s. to Black Sea region, the Caucasus, n. Iran, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan and s. Kazakhstan.
