India to se. Asia, Philippines, Greater Sundas, Lesser Sundas, and Sulawesi;
Fragmented distribution;
(1) Nepal, s. China, Burma, Thailand, Laos and Vietnam.
(2) Pakistan and nw. India.
(3) S. India, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Sumatra, Java, Borneo. Including Nias Is., Riau Archipelago, and Lingga Archipelago.
(4) Palawan and Philippines.
(5) Lesser Sundas e. to Leti, Moa, and Sermata, and s. Sulawesi.
(6) Savu and Timor.
