C. Asia
S. Russia (e. Altai Mountains) e. to Transbaikalia in e. Siberia, and ne. China (w. Heilongjiang) s. to s. Mongolia and ec. Nei Mongol, Tibet, and ne. India.
Winters mostly on the Indian Subcontinent and Sri Lanka e. through Bangladesh, Burma, and Andaman Is. with a small population in n. Oman.
