W. Himalayas to e. China and n. Indochina;
Two populations;
Ex. W. China (w. Xinjiang) s. to ne. Afghanistan, n. Pakistan to ne. India (Kashmir to Arunachal Pradesh), Tibet, s. and e. China (c. Gansu e. probably to Nei Mongol and w. Hebei s. to s. and e. Xizang, Yunnan, w. Gizhou, and w. Hubei). Probably also in n. and ne. Burma.
Winters s. to n. India to Rajasthan and Assam, Bangladesh and n. Thailand.
