Nw. France and British Isles to n. Scandinavia;
(1) Rocky coasts of the British Isles including the Outer Hebrides (South Uist and Arran), nw. France and the Channel Is.
(2) Faeroes Is., Shetlands Is., Fair Isle, Orkneys and St. Kilda Is.
(3) Scandinavia and Finland, nw. Russia.
Winters s. to Spain and Morocco.
