(1) Mountains of c. and sw. Europe (Spain, n. and c. Italy (Alps and Appenines), Balkans (Carpathians), and nw. Turkey). Corsica and Sardinia.
(2) E. Turkey to the ex. s. Russia in the Caucasus, n. Iran, e. Turkmenistan (Pamir Mountains), Tibet, n. India and nw. China.
(3) Ne. Afghanistan to sw. Siberia, Transbaicalia, and n. Mongolia (Nan Shan).
