Fragmented distribution;
(1) Pacific slope of Panama.
(2) Coastal Peru to ex. n. Chile.
(3) Ne. Colombia, s. and e. Venezuela, Guyana, Surinam, Guiana, coastal n. and s. Brazil (Bahia (Chapada Diamantina and Rio Jequitionha) Marajo Is. and Mexiana Is.) to c. Bolivia, Paraguay, Uruguay to c. Argentina.
