Nw. India to s. China, se. Asia, and n. Malay Peninsula;
(1) W. and c. India.
(2) India (n. Bombay, w. Rajasthan, and n. Maharashtra).
(3) Nepal and n. India (Punjab e. to Arunachal Pradesh).
(4) E. India from Ganges Delta s. to Rameswaram in Tamil Nadu), Bangladesh, n., w., and s. Burma including Arakan Hills, and sw. Thailand.
(5) Andaman Is.
(6) E. Himalayas of ne. India, s. Tibet, n. Burma, and s. China (w. and s. Yunnan).
(7) Ex. s. Burma (s. Tenasserim), Thailand, n. Malay Peninsula, and s. Indochina. The Laos population is tentatively assigned to this race.
(8) N. Vietnam and s. China (s. Guangdong including Nao Chow Tao).
(9) Se. China (Guizhou e. to Guangxi, e. Guangdong and Hong Kong).
Introduced in the se. United States (Florida), Hawaii (Oahu), Mauritius, e. Saudia Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Oman, Nicobar Is., Borneo (Brunei), Singapore, Malaysia (Kuala Lumpur, Melaka, and Penang), e. and se. Australia (Victoria, e. New South Wales and ce. Queensland).
