W. to c. Africa;
Two populations;
(1) S. Sengal, Sierra Leone, Liberia, Ivory Coast, Ghana, s. Nigeria, s. Cameroon, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, Congo, s. Central African Republic and ex. s. Sudan, n. Angola, nw. Zambia, c. Zaire and w. Tanzania.
(2) Sudan, ne. Zaire, Uganda and nw. Kenya.
(3) Kenya (n. Nandi).
