Range

Circumpolar; S. Indian Ocean; Sw. Pacific Ocean off s. New Zealand; S. Atlantic Ocean;
Three widely separated populations;
Breeds on Marion, Prince Edward, Crozet, Kerguelen, Heard. Auckland (Enderby Is.) Is., also on Codfish Is. near Stewart Is. off s. New Zealand (South Island) and perhaps on Macquarie Is. South Georgia.
Dispersal patterns are not well known.
