C. China and Japan;
Two widely separated populations;
C. China in the Yangtze Valley of Kweichow, Anhwei, Hunan, and Hupeh. Japan (Hokkaido, n. and c. Honshu, Shikoku).
Winters s. to se. China, Indochina and Hainan.
