W. to se. Africa;
Fragmented distribution;
(1) S. Mali, Senegambia, Guinea, Sierra Leone, Liberia, Ivory Coast, Burkina Faso, Ghana, Togo, Benin, and Nigeria.
(2) Cameroon, Central African Republic, s. Chad, s. Sudan, and n. Zaire.
(3) Ethiopia.
(4) Uganda, w. Kenya, Tanzania, e. Zambia, Malawi, e. Zimbabwe, and Mozambique. Possibly ne. South Africa (ne. Transvaal).
