Himalayas to e. Asia and Taiwan;
Two populations;
(1) N. Pakistan (Swat, Hazara, and Murree Hills), nw. India (Kashmir) and w. Nepal.
(2) E. Nepal, ne. India, se. Tibet, s. China (se. Xizang), Bhutan, w. and n. Burma.
(3) C. and e. China, ne. Burma, n. Laos, and n. Vietnam (Tonkin).
(4) Taiwan.
