Range

C. and se. to ne. Asia;
(1) C. and ne. Asia (s. Siberia s. of the Arctic Circle from the Altai e. to Anadyrland, Amurland, n. Ussuriland, and Sakhalin Is.).
Winters in India, Andaman Islands, Burma, Thailand, China and Taiwan.
(2) Sw. Tibet, e. Himalayas and sw. China (Szechwan).
Winters in ne. India.
(3) Mongolia and n. China (e. Tsinghai and Kansu e. to Heilungkiang).
Winters in s. China, Hainan and Indochina.
