Cw. to c. Africa;
(1) S. Nigeria, s. Cameroon, ex. sw. Central African Republic (Dzanga and Lobaye), Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, s. Congo, nw. Angola (Cabinda and Uige s. to Cuanza Sul and Lunda Sul), s. Zaire, and ex. nw. Zambai.
(2) E. Zaire in the e. Congo River basin from Bolobo to Uele and Semlike, ex. sw. Sudan (Alomma Plateau), and sw. Uganda. There is an old record from nw. Tanzania (Ukerewe Is. in se. Lake Victoria).
