C. and ne. Asia;
Ural Mountains of e. Russia through c. and s. Siberia e. to Anadyrland, the Sea of Okhotsk, and Kamchatka s. to the Altai, n. Mongolia and Ussuriland, and possibly e. Tibet.
Winters in s. China, wc. India, Bangladesh, Burma, the upper Malay Peninsula, se. Asia and Borneo.
