Range

Himalayas to s. China, Sumatra, and Borneo;
Three populations;
(1) Himalayas (Nepal, n. and e. India to c. and se. China (Yunnan)) and Indochina (n. Laos).
Winters in sw. India.
(2) S. Thailand, Malaya, Sumatra and Borneo.
