Moluccas, New Guinea, Bismarck Archipelago to Solomon Islands and Australia;
Fragmented distribution;
(1) N. Western Australia and n. Northern Territory to c. Queensland.
(2) Western Australia, South Australia, c. Northern Territory, c. Queensland s. in New South Wales and Victoria. Islands in the Bass Strait (King Is. And Flanders Is.). N. Tasmania.
(3) The Lesser Sundas, Moluccas (Seram, Seram Laut, Watubela Is., and Buru Is.), New Guinea, the Bismarck Archipelago and Solomon Is.
Disperses to n. Tasmania.
